TEAM ASSESSMENT
Each team member takes the assessment that evaluates the team’s trust, healthy conflict, commitment, accountability, and results. The report is a composite of how the respondents see the team, while leaving the individual responses confidential. It provides powerful keys as to what is working and what is not. She uses this report as a foundation in corporate training from which to develop the skills to communicate clearly, engage in conflict effectively, commit as a team, hold one another accountable, and reach meaningful goals.
TTI DISC & DRIVING FORCES ASSESSMENT
When beginning leadership training with individuals through executive coaching, or leadership development with a team through corporate training, Mary Beth King invites her clients to complete an assessment that identifies how they tend to behave (DISC) and why (Driving Forces). The comprehensive report provides insights as to how an individual is likely to communicate, but more importantly how they can adapt their style to communicate most effectively with others. When using the assessment in team development, she provides a spreadsheet including all of the members’ scores that serves as extraordinary tool in creating the most effective communication within the team.
TTI EQ ASSESSMENT
Leadership development research has continued to identify Emotional Intelligence (EQ) as an essential element of a successful leader. Whether working with individuals through executive coaching or teams through corporate training, Mary Beth King includes EQ in her leadership training. She begins by using an assessment to provide a numeric baseline for each of the five aspects of EQ – self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills. From this baseline, each individual can clearly identify the area(s) where they need to grow. Her clients are often grateful for the significant impact that EQ leadership training has on both their professional and personal relationships!
TTI DNA ASSESSMENT
The DNA assessment measures the competencies of 25 personal skills such as being innovative, able to plan and organize, manage time and priority, and being flexible. These personal skills are often as important, if not more important, than technical skills in a work environment. As a business coach Mary Beth King assists leaders in best utilizing the strengths of their employees, and managing and growing their weaker skills. When she is involved in corporate development, the knowledge of individual competencies provides an informed framework for designing strong teams that recognize each other’s strengths and fill in each other’s gaps.
TTI HD ASSESSMENT
The HD assessment measures acumen. Acumen is one’s ability analyze and accurately interpret both their internal and external experience, resulting in good judgment and problem solving abilities. Mary Beth King explores this information with her executive coaching clients to determine where they may have blind spots and where their discernment may need sharpening. Regularly scheduled coaching sessions, discussing their current challenges, reveals the specific areas where the leader’s acumen can be grown. The ah-ha moments when the assessment results and the real world collide, creates tangible improvement in judgment. Acumen work calls for a willingness to do hard, focused work. And for a committed leader, it is well worth the effort!
